Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurobehavioral condition that interferes with the person's ability to pay attention and exercise age-appropriate inhibition.
ADHD arises due to a dysfunction of certain areas of the brain and changes children's emotional and behavioural self-regulation.
ADHD affects up to 10% of children between the age of 5 and 18 in the US and Canada and is the leading cause of behavioural and social challenges. It can also create significant academic issues and lower children's self-esteem.
Join our free workshop if you would like to learn more about this condition and address some of these and other related questions:
What are the symptoms of ADHD?
